Acoustic Foam Singapore & Sound Absorbing Foam

Acoustic Foam materials are easy to find in Singapore however the sound absorbing foam you are buying may not be acoustic foam in the first place. There are at least 600 different varietys of foam matierals available catagized worldwide and all of the foam compounds have different characteristics and are made of different compositions.

Not all foams can be used for Acoustic application and some foams may have such undesirable characteristcs that they are unsuitable for such use.

Often is the case in Singapore and China that normal foams are missold by hi-fi shops and sound engineers / amature consultants to the general public because of the foams shape and visual simerlaritys to that of the authentic Acoustic Foam. As a result this has lead to an increase in the sales of seat cussion foam, bed materess foam and computer pacakging foam over the years. Then end result however is far from promising, customers that we have inspected their studios often complain of unbalanced freaquencies where foam has absorbed some of the reverberation from certain frequencies and had zero impact on others.

That is why there is a lot of time spent in R&D to ensure the foams we manufacture and supply are effective when used in Acoustic Control.
