Soundproofing Windows Systems for Singapore
These days there are plenty of companies on the market selling and calming that they sell soundproof windows or they are doing soundproofing for windows here in Singapore. However all is not what it seems. Soundproofing windows are very different from conventional windows and doors and everything about a normal window is wrong when it comes to how it can be effective against noise.
The fundamental problems from normal windows are the frame, glass, seals, locking mechanism and hardware. Normal windows will use plain glass and use quiet small thicknesses. These don't help at all as when glass is very thin noise resonates within it. This actually means that the noise is in-fact conductive and not very suitable at stopping noise.
The frames used in normal windows are that of aluminum which again is a conductive material not suitable. Then we talk about the seals and locking mechanism. In normal windows the seals will just touch the frame and not really seal and the locking mechanism will not be tight this results in massive amount of noise escaping though the gaps. And before you say, added foam strips does not really help this.
One of the things that we have come to find out from other windows on the market is that funny enough these windows all display the characteristics of ether normal windows with some modification of thermal insulated windows. It seems from our perspective that window companies have attempted to widen their business models by advertising that they sell soundproofing windows when in fact they aren't really authentic soundproofing windows.
One of the latest companies to rise up in recent years is a company claiming that they are providing italian made windows locally with a 100% reduction of the noise using a double glazed panels.
After futher investigation we found that the brand of window is not from itally and is actually from the UK and more alarming is that the UK company have never sold any windows or given any franzise rights to the Singapore based company.
We have seen a number of these windows close up after removing them from our clients properties. Upon dissmantling these windows we have found no links with the UK Brand on anyof the parts used.
Over the years we have replaced a large proportion of windows installed by the other windows compamies that offer their own take on soundproof windows and In our comparison of the different companies we found that the lowest results from one company was 5dB reduction in noise and the highest reduction was using a thermal double glazed insulated glass at 11dB.
This isn't very encouraging when our NoiseBlock Glass window can reduce 40db on average and best performance 55db. So as you can you see there is a massive difference in what we call soundproofing and what our competitors think is soundproofing.

Soundproofing Windows - NoiseBlock STC 55 Window
NoiseBlock Soundproofing STC 55 Window is our current best selling window system.
The glass used is Quad Glazed and there is a true vacuum inside and in another section it has compound particle gas injected and then it is ionized. There is a total of 7 Layers in our NBG Panel.
This whole process is done in a labority to ensure the best quality of product reaches you.
As a result of ionizing the gas particles is referred to as a plasma shield. Which is space technology.
Price wise we find in fact other companies are charging more for windows than us.
The frame features our Duo Bridge internal Technology and external technology that decouples the frame, creating the pefect vessle for isolation of noise transmissino. Then the frame is Ionised and coated in our trade secret coating.
apart from the above the window is then finished with multiple acoustics seals on the window panel and frams and
a German sequential locking mechanism to ensure a air tight and sound tight seals when the window is locked in place.
All of this results in our award winning international >window system only available from NoiseBlock.
